- Client was very successful in their home (regional) market, but wanted to expand nationally
- Had concluded the fastest way to achieve this goal would be to acquire several other smaller players in the market, but did not know how to identify these organizations, which ones to focus on and how to approach them to engage in dialogue
B&A’s Solution:
- Develop and execute an acquisition search program to identify and assess the attractiveness of several potential targets in numerous major cities
- Included engaging directly with principals of target firms, participating directly in subsequent meetings with our client, and providing analytics/perspectives on the attractiveness of each
Result:
- Customer successfully executed 5 purchases and in the process achieved their goal of national expansion
