| Improving Employee Satisfaction
Situation:
- Client was an international organization with offices across Canada who had identified employee engagement as being a key strategic priority
- Despite this, an internal employee satisfaction survey had revealed several sources of dissatisfaction among employees
- As the internal survey was very brief, it did not provide the level of detail and understanding of those areas in need of attention and as a result organizations ability to take corrective action was limited
B&A’s Solution:
- Design and conduct a series of employee focus groups across Canada to deeply explore those areas in need of attention
Result:
- A wealth of knowledge was acquired and the client was able to use this information to develop a series of corrective action plans
- One year later satisfaction levels increased significantly, and Canada’s employee relations index was in the top 5 for the World
